Who We Are
Friendly, creative graphic designers in Birmingham, West Midlands
Jordan Twigg Design was set up in 1992, initially producing purely artwork for the print market. As the advertising and marketing industry has changed significantly over the years so has our business. Now we can offer a broader spectrum of print and digital services to our clients, many of which have been with us from the early days.
We’re based in Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands and work for clients both nationally and internationally. Clients include the public sector, large manufacturers, sports, leisure, retail and small businesses.
Jane was influenced greatly by her Dad, a traditional signwriter and artist. But the path into graphics happened whilst studying ‘A’ levels, when she was offered a job as a trainee finished artist in a Birmingham advertising agency. Progressing on to running the finished art studio and transferring from the board to the Mac.
In 1992 Jane stepped out and set up Jordan Twigg Design. This allowed her to concentrate on the areas which interested her most, and to really develop a knowledge and practice of graphics.
“Graphic design is a continuous cycle of inspiration and learning and that’s what I really like about it. I try and look at things in a very practical way, as good graphic design has to have form and function.”
From an early age Ryan showed creative tendancies, always doodling, building and making stuff while watching ‘Art Attack’. He first got a glimpse of graphic design when he went on work experience at Jordan Twigg Design at the tender age of 15. After school Ryan went out into the world to explore what was on offer, before realising that his first love was always going to be graphic design.
Ryan then enrolled in college and got a part-time job working in bar, where fate and a round of drinks led him back to Jordan Twigg Design. Progressing from working part time to a full time job.
“I’m always bouncing ideas around and looking at ways to develop the web side of the business. My attitude to work is to enjoy it and have fun with design.”
